FaithFaith kept walking as Connor came after her, he didn't actually try to stop her though. She looked at him as he positioned himself in front of her and walked backward so he could talk to her. Then she stopped dead in her tracks and crossed her arms over her chest before she spoke. "A mansion? She gives you anything you want? We're gonna be the one's running things?" Faith took a deep breath and thought about it for a moment. Well... It was an interesting proposition. A few years ago Faith would have been all over it in a heartbeat. Living large was a tempting offer. But Faith was a little smarter than that these days. She narrowed her eyes at Connor. "Yeah... You know, it's tempting. It sounds like a really good deal. Uh... A little too good Connor. Come on, you can't be that stupid. You know there has to be a catch to it right? Are you under some kind of a spell or something? Snap out of it Connor!" Faith started to walk again. Stretching her legs out as far as she could so she could get the hell out of there. She needed to sort this out. "Hell no Connor. I ain't doing it."

When Faith stopped, Connor did too. She seemed to consider it for a second, weighing it in her head. Then her facial expression and the tone of her voice told him she wasn't buying it. Connor didn't know what would've been worse. Faith turning down the offer, or Faith accepting it. After all, he didn't actually want to stick around and be the champion of a Hell-god. The fact that she wasn't having it was a good thing. It meant she'd help him if he could find a way to tell her what was really going on in his head.
"Come on, you can't be that stupid," she said. "You know there has to be a catch to it right? Are you under some kind of a spell or something? Snap out of it Connor!"
He watched her start walking again.
"Hell no Connor. I ain't doing it."
He jogged alongside her again and cut in front of her, but this time he stood his ground instead of moving backwards. They were getting close to the gate.
"I can't let you leave, Faith," he said. When he spoke he'd dropped the excited little boy act and his tone was serious.

-SAM WINCHESTER- --- Sam watched as the exchange continued. The guy was trying to get the woman to go with him, but she refused and didn't seem to understand why he was doing whatever it was he was doing. Did these two know each other? The boyscout's name was Connor, apparently. The woman said it twice as she blew him off and tried to leave again. This wasn't going to end well. This woman had been brought here, and Connor seemed pretty determined to get her to go with him. When she tried to leave he stepped in front of her, blocking her path. He called her Faith. Sam felt his jaw tighten. So far the guy hadn't made a move to hurt her, but that would be the next step. Sam swallowed. He didn't want to get involved in this, but he couldn't just hide and wait it out if this guy tried something with this girl. Especially when she was in the same position as Sam was: confused and wanting to get the hell out of here.

FaithFaith came to a sudden stop as Connor blocked her path. She heard the tone of his voice change and she glared at him. OK. Game's over, she thought. So this was how it was going to go. He was there to take her with him, whether she wanted to go or not. "Oh? You can't let me leave? Well... you can't make me go either. You are not man enough to take me down Connor. We both know that. Now get the hell out of my way." Taking a step forward she shoved him to get him out of her way. Then she attempted to start walking toward the gate again. If he wanted to take her with him, he was going to have one hellacious fight on his hands.

Faith stopped when Connor stepped in front of her. He half expected to get punched in the face as soon as he blocked her way.
"Oh? You can't let me leave? Well... you can't make me go either," she said. "You are not man enough to take me down Connor. We both know that."
Connor's jaw tightened a bit at that. What the hell was that supposed to mean? Yeah, she'd beaten him in a fight once, but to say he wasn't 'man enough?' That was just... well, bitchy.
"Now get the hell out of my way."
She gave him a hard shove, fully intent on making her way to the gate steamroller style. Connor swallowed. It wasn't like he hadn't seen this coming. He just really didn't want it to come down to a fight. All right. Here we go. One thing was for sure. If he got a hit in, he'd have to make it a good one and take her down on the first shot or he was screwed. His mind was racing. A zillion thoughts must've gone through his head in the span of a second. He could throw her against a crypt and concuss her a bit. Restrain her somehow. With what? He suddenly wished he'd worn a tie. God, he never thought he'd wish he was wearing a tie. How was he even going to get her back to the mansion if he did manage to knock her out? Pick her up and carry her, he guessed, but that was kind of a long hike and with her super Slayer healing mojo she probably wouldn't stay unconscious the whole way. That'd just be too convenient. And then an alternative idea occurred to him. If they were going to fight anyway and he most likely wasn't going to win, maybe he could use it to his advantage in another way. Before his brain had even fully processed his half-assed plan, he'd lunged at her, throwing all of his weight into it to tackle her to the ground.

FaithFaith was intent on getting out of that cemetery. Walking with a purpose in that direction. She could sense Connor coming near her, she expected him to try and grab her by the arm or something. She wasn't expecting a full on tackle. As his whole body collided with her, even her enhanced Slayer abilities couldn't keep her smaller form from falling sideways and landing with a thud onto the ground.
She kept her wits about her and was able to recover quickly. Pushing hard against Connor's weight on top of her she forced him off of her and sprang to her feet. Then she went on the attack. She moved quickly toward him stretching one hand out to reach for his neck, pulling the other arm back she threw a punch aimed straight for his cheek bone.

Connor collided with her and they landed on the ground. She fought back instantly, shoving him off her. He got to his feet quickly, but not quick enough. Pain shot through his face as her fist collided with his cheek. He grabbed the arm that was gripping his neck and pulled her toward him to come back with a head-butt.

Sam watched the scene intently, his muscles tight and senses alert. Connor stepped in front of Faith, not wanting to let her leave on her own. Sam gripped the handle of his gun, his palms sweating. Don't do it, kid, he thought.
Faith said something about him not being man enough to fight her. They must've known each other somehow. Old enemies, maybe? But then, why did he want her on his team? That didn't really add up. Faith shoved Connor out of the way and he stood there watching her keep walking. For a second he looked too stunned to do anything and it seemed like he was going to just let her go. Then he lunged at her and they both collapsed to the ground. Sam darted out from behind his crypt, trying to be as stealthy as possible while aiming his gun and getting closer. He planned on firing a warning shot, getting him to back off so the girl could make a run for it. But then he stopped mid-stride when Faith shoved him off of her, jumped to her feet, grabbed him, and punched him in the face. This wasn't some helpless victim. This girl knew what she was doing. He hung back a bit, inching back toward the crypt. Maybe he wouldn't need to step in after all if she kept going the way she was going.

FaithFaith was getting pissed off. She had started off the night, minding her own business, patrolling some random cemetery in some random town, then suddenly she falls into a hole, climbs out into some new weird dimension and finds herself in a full on brawl with Angel's son Connor. Someone she hadn't even seen in years. What the fuck was going on here?
She didn't really have much time to think about it now though. Keeping her hand around his neck, she let go and stumbled backward as he rammed his head at her with a massive head-butt. She shook that off and went after him again. This time she leaned back on her left leg and kicked out at him with her right. A big side kick that sent him sprawling to the ground. Immediately she ran and jumped on him. Pulling her fist back to hit him in the face again as she yelled. "What the fucking hell Connor!! I'm not going with you."

Pain shot through Connor's forehead as it collided with Faith's. She stumbled back and Connor took a second to recover. Following up a blow to the face with a head-butt was probably a bad idea, but it wasn't like he'd had much time to mull it over.
"Oof!"
Faith's sharp kick knocked the wind out of him as he fell to the ground. He didn't have time to get it back before she landed on top of him.
"What the fucking hell Connor!! I'm not going with you."
Connor threw his arm up in front of him to block her punch. Shit, this was not going to work. Maybe if he was legitimately fighting for his life or something he could've taken down a Slayer. Hell, even if he was just really pissed off. But he didn't even want to fight her. He didn't want to have to drag her back to Glory any more than she wanted to let him. If he could just tell her what the situation was, maybe they could figure something out to get them both out of this.
As Faith's fist connected with his forearm, Connor took the very small window of opportunity to grab her other arm and yank her toward him - a really weird move to make in a fight, but he just needed her to be close enough to hear him.
"Faith, I need your help," he whispered quickly.
He wrapped his other arm around her waist and used his weight to roll them over so that he was on top of her.
"This Glory chick's like Kathy Bates in Misery. I can't leave!"
He got to his feet quickly and got into a fighting stance. He didn't know how much of that she'd heard if any, but he'd just have to keep trying until he got the message across.

Sam watched as the fight continued, his gun still drawn and ready. Connor head-butted Faith, she kicked him and he fell down, then she jumped on top of him and went to punch him in the face. Jeez, this girl was something else. He wondered where she'd learned to fight like that.
Sam backed up a few paces, sticking to the shadows until he had a better idea of who - or what - he'd be dealing with if he jumped into this fight. Then Connor grabbed Faith and pulled her toward him. Sam creased his brow. That was weird. He rolled over on top of her, there was a pause, then he stood up. She looked confused for a second and said something about him needing her help. What the hell was going on?

FaithFaith's punch landed on Connor's arm as he threw it up to block her attack. She growled at him as she prepared to swing again but before she could do anything she was being pulled down on top of him she heard him whisper to her. Then she found herself laying underneath him. Ok... this was odd, she thought. Not your standard fighting tactic. And he was talking to her again. While she was rearing back her legs to push him off of her, she hesitated as what he said sunk in, then he had jumped up to his feet.
Faith lay there on the ground for a minute, letting it process. Finally she pushed herself up into a sitting position on the ground and looked at him. She ran a hand through her hair and scratched her head. "What did you just say? You need MY help? This is a funn..." Faith was just about to say that it was 'a funny way to go about asking for help' when she saw movement from the corner of her eye. She swiveled her head around and jumped to her feet. For the moment her attention was taken off of Connor. There was someone or something moving back toward one of the crypts. "HEY! You!" Faith yelled out and started moving in the direction of the movement. It was definitely a person or at least something in a human body. As she got closer, she could see that it was actually a very tall male human body.

Connor stared down at Faith, prepared for an attack now, but wondering if anything he'd said had reached her. She stayed on the ground for a second before sitting up and looking at him. He relaxed his stance slightly, though he was still alert. If she was going to try attacking him again she would've done it already.
"What did you just say? You need MY help? This is a funn..."
She stopped talking abruptly, springing to her feet and Connor narrowed his eyes. She looked away from him, distracted, and he followed her gaze as she called out.
"HEY! You!"
Connor saw the figure of a big guy skulking around in the shadows. Faith started moving toward him and Connor followed after her. Shit. Had Glory sent someone to spy on him? Had he heard Connor asking Faith for help?

Faith got to her feet, glanced over, and froze mid-sentence. "HEY! You!" She started walking toward him, followed quickly by the other guy, who looked a little nervous. Sam sighed. So much for keeping a low profile. He took a few steps forward, holding the gun at his side with both hands, ready to raise it and fire if necessary.
"Uh... Hi." His gaze moved to Connor. If this kid tried anything he was getting a bullet to the kneecap.
"Sorry to interrupt... whatever the hell this is, but... What the hell IS this?"

FaithFaith slowed down as she approached. Stopping a few feet away from the stranger when she saw the gun dangling at his side. When he gave a tentative "Uh... Hi." Faith raised an eyebrow and crossed her arms over her chest as she looked at him. He continued. "Sorry to interrupt... whatever the hell this is, but... What the hell IS this?" Faith turned and glanced over at Connor who had come up behind her. Then she turned back to face the man in front of her. Apparently he was confused about something too from his question and his tone. "I'm not sure exactly. I think Connor here is the one that seems to have a clue. However, what is a guy like you doing lurking in a cemetery with a gun?"
