Welcome to the new and revamped Where the Wild Things Are!
Anyone who saw this place when it was first made will notice a very drastic change. This announcement is just to orient everyone a bit, newcomers and old friends, so we're all on the same page.

+What's Going On?
Here's the basic gist of how the site works now. A powerful entity named Glory has created her own dimension containing a version of the state of California. The site is now multi-fandom, meaning any character from any show or movie can come into play, provided it makes some sort of sense. We will work with individual players to figure out a way for characters of all kinds to fit in here, and we will accept characters on a case by case basis. Even though this is a multi-fandom board, there are still some characters that might just be totally screwy to try to make fit here. But, it can't hurt to give it a shot, so don't be afraid.
+Who's Running Things?
Your admins are me (Buffy) and Faith. Other characters we play can be found in the dropdown menus under our graphics on the left side table.
The Informant is an account we both have access to, so if you want to contact both of us, or don't have a preference as to which of us you direct a question or comment to, that's the account to PM.
We both review character applications and Dimensional Bleed posts. We both approve or deny characters. We are both responsible for the context and backstory of this RP's setting. We both handle advertisements.
What Buffy Does:I'm responsible for the graphics you see on the skin, so if you have questions or concerns about any of that stuff contact me. The same goes for the site video. If you see something you think you own, or you think we've copied something in a graphic, don't bombard Faith because she's not the one that did it lol. Or if you just have suggestions on how to improve the graphics or comments from a critiquing point of view, those are always welcome provided the comments are constructive criticism. Don't PM me with something like, "Your graphics blow." That's just not very nice.
I also have a pretty thorough knowledge of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, The Lost Boys, and Lost, so if you have particular in-depth questions about any of those fandoms or their characters, I should be able to help.
What Faith Does:Faith has helped a lot to build this board, mainly with coding and the chatbox as well as helping to come up with the site's plot, back story, and logistics. "Coding" is an easy word to throw around, but a lot of people don't know how much work it actually is. See how if you hover the mouse over the side tables and click the graphics it links you somewhere? That's coding that makes that happen. See how the side tables are transparent and that makes the graphics pop and look really nifty? That's also coding. There are a million things like that on this board that are easy to take for granted, but a lot of work goes into making them work. I know next to nothing about coding, so if you have any questions about the coding used here, ask Faith. But please don't bombard her with a bunch of questions about how to make the coding work on your site. Or, if you'd really like her help with your site, be cool about it and just straight up ask her and see what she says. The point I'm trying to get at here is that Faith is not a coding drone. She does more on this board than just make the codes work. And she has a life lol.
Faith has a thorough knowledge of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, and Charmed, so if you have questions about anything regarding those fandoms she should be able to help.
We've just re-opened the board and are still playing out the foundational stories for it, but we are accepting new members and reviewing applications and Dimensional Bleed posts. Just don't be alarmed if we don't approve or reply to your ap right away. We're just busy tying up loose ends. We're also currently working on official approval graphics to post to accepted applications and Dimensional Bleed posts. For now we're just going to use plaintext replies to let you know you're approved.
That's about it for now. Welcome, and feel free to browse around and read through things. If you have any questions or comments, let us know!
