Alliance: We’ll call him neutral, though he wants to be good.

Sub-Species: Half-demon
Powers and Abilities: Being the child of two demonic vampires, Connor has all of the vampiric strengths with none of the weaknesses.
::Enhanced Strength:: Connor is stronger than the average human, and during an adrenaline rush or when he’s fighting for survival he displays unnatural bursts of strength.
::Enhanced Speed and Reflexes:: Run faster, jump higher – this kid could be a spokesperson for Nike if he felt like it.
::Enhanced Healing:: He heals faster than an ordinary human and is resistant to certain injuries.
::Enhanced Senses:: A combination of his vampire heritage and intense training has made Connor’s senses very sharp. They’re not as keen as a werewolf’s would be, but they’re pretty good.
Physical Appearance
Height: 5’ 11
Weight/Build: lean muscle
Eye Color: Blue
Hair Color: Brown
Attire: Connor’s wardrobe has a bit of a duality to it. He’s lived two very different lives and he remembers both and his tastes reflect both.
Comfort and agility are key when he dresses. His clothing should be comfortable for him, and allow him all the movement he needs. He tends to wear dark or neutral colors like navy blue, gray, black, and khaki.
He also has a large chunk of his wardrobe that’s made up of polo shirts, and fashionable clothing. Think Abercrombie and Hollister. He has a lot of red in this clothing collection.
Connor currently mixes and matches both these wardrobes to create a unique style.
Distinguishing Traits: Connor tends to blend in unless he’s given reason to make his presence known. If he has any distinguishing traits, he does his best to hide them.

Personality
Describe: Connor is a complicated guy. To call him troubled would be a massive understatement. He’s lived a very difficult life during which he’s been horribly misguided and used as a pawn by many people. He carries a lot of anger and a lot of guilt for several different reasons.
Due to being granted a new life for a while as a civilian with a normal life and normal parents, Connor is more well-balanced than he was before that. He doesn’t trust easily, but once you earn his trust, it’s very easy to guide and manipulate Connor. Because a lot of people have done that, it’s now very difficult for new people to befriend him and gain his trust now. He’s also become very independent and strong-willed. He’s sick of being manipulated by others, and has learned to trust his own feelings over what others tell him. However, he doesn’t always have the best judgment, so his own feelings aren’t always right. But once Connor sets his mind on something, it’s nearly impossible to change it. He has unyielding determination and he’s very much a man who can do anything he sets his mind to.
It’s hard to teach Connor anything – especially if he’s not in the mood to be a student. You can talk to Connor all you want, but if he doesn’t want to listen, he’s not going to take anything you say seriously. The best way for Connor to learn is for him to jump into something and get his hands dirty. He learns by experience, and by making a lot of mistakes. But, once he learns from those mistakes, it’s very likely he’ll never make them again. However, when Connor’s in the learning mode and wants to learn something, he takes everything in with quiet enthusiasm.
Connor’s very observant when he wants to be, and he’s very good at being a fly on the wall – especially if he’s making an effort to go unnoticed. He can read people and social situations and he’s very skilled in strategy. However, it’s easy for his judgment to become clouded by his emotions.
Although Connor hasn’t had many relationships, it’s very easy for him to fall in love, though he doesn’t always act on it. When he’s in a relationship or when he really cares about someone, Connor is loyal to a fault and fiercely protective. He doesn’t tend to be very possessive unless you give him reason not to trust you, but he does expect some degree of loyalty in return for his own.
Making friends is difficult for Connor, since he’s not very trusting and he’s not very good at being social. He has a dry wit that’s an acquired taste, and he has a bit of a chip on his shoulder. If you have the patience to break down his walls and earn his trust – and you can manage to trust him – Connor’s the best friend you could have. Granted, he might not hang out with you much and you might not always know he cares about you, but his loyalty will be revealed when it counts. He’s not necessarily the guy to call for bail money if you got arrested for something stupid, but he’s the guy to call if you have a gun to your head. Connor will protect those he loves at all costs.
One very important thing about Connor: he doesn’t give many second chances. He is aware that he himself makes a lot of mistakes – often unforgivable ones – but he doesn’t expect to be forgiven, nor does he expect second or third chances. Once you wrong Connor, it’s very difficult to get back in his good graces. In fact, depending on what you did to screw him over, you may want to make an effort to stay far, far away from him. When Connor doesn’t like you, he can be downright scary.

“Fatal Flaw”: Connor craves love. He longs to be accepted, and if someone seems to accept him for he is – good and bad – he becomes blinded to a degree and he becomes easily manipulated.
History
Brace yourselves, kids. This is complicated.
::Connor’s Conception::Connor’s conception was orchestrated by a powerful entity to be used as a tool to bring her into the world. The vampire, Darla, was resurrected as a mortal woman by the L.A. law firm, Wolfram & Hart. They planned to use her to torment Angel and cause him to revert to his evil self, Angelus.
Darla, suffering from syphilis – a disease she had before she was turned back in the 1600s – and finding it unbearable to live with a soul, wanted to become a vampire again. Angel completed a set of trials to give Darla a second chance at life, only to be denied due to the fact that Darla had already been given this second chance, being resurrected by Wolfram & Hart.
When Angel refused to turn Darla, Wolfram & Hart brought in Drusilla to sire her. A vampire again, Darla returned to her evil ways and she was nearly killed by Angel. In a moment of emotiona desperation, Angel sought comfort in Darla and the two had sex. Darla fled Los Angeles only to return pregnant. It is physiologically impossible for vampires to bear children. Connor’s conception was a miracle.
::Connor’s Birth and Infancy::Connor was born in November, 2001. During Darla’s pregnancy, she shared the soul of her child, allowing her to care for and feel love for him. Fearing she would kill her own baby after he was born and she no longer shared his soul, Darla drove a stake through her own heart during childbirth, sacrificing herself to save her son. Angel named him Connor and took him in, planning to raise him.
Unknown to Angel, a prophecy was written that said Connor would kill a demon called Sahjhan. Fearing for his life, Sahjhan traveled through time to re-write the prophecy so it would read “The father will kill the son.” Afte reading this false prophecy, Wesley Wyndam-Pryce feared for Connor’s safety, thinking that Angel was destined to kill him. Wesley kidnapped Connor, taking him away from Angel. Wolfram & Hart also wanted Connor – the first child ever born of two vampires – to study. Meanwhile, the demon Sahjhan was still plotting to kill Connor to prevent the true prophecy from coming to pass. But everyone’s plans went awry when Daniel Holtz, an enemy of Angel’s from long ago, got involved. He wanted Angel to know the pain of losing a son, as Daniel had known it when Angel took his son from him. Sahjhan opened a portal to a hell dimension called Quor-Toth and Daniel took baby Connor and escaped through the portal.
::Connor’s Return and the WTF Factor::Just when Angel and the gang had resigned themselves to the fact that Connor was lost to them forever, he re-emerged in Los Angeles through a portal as a hostile, animal-like teenager with special abilities. The WTF factor here was that it had only been days since Connor’s disappearance, and yet there he was, eighteen years old.
Time passes differently in Quor-Toth than it does in what we’ll call Angel’s dimension. While only a few days had passed in Angel’s dimension, for Connor, years had passed. He’d been raised in a Hell dimension and spent every day fighting to survive. He was raised by Daniel Holtz as Steven Franklin Thomas Holtz and from a young age he was told horrible stories about Angel and the evil he’d done. Connor grew to despise Angel and believed that Holtz was his real father. He traveled to Angel’s dimension to kill him.
::The Vendetta::As if things weren’t complicated enough, Holtz followed Connor into Angel’s dimension and carried out a secret plan. One of Holtz’s accomplices killed him and framed Angel, sending Connor into a rage. Connor locked Angel in a large metal coffin and dropped him in the ocean, a fate worse than death for a vampire.
Connor then joined Angel Investigations and began working with Fred and Gunn. Not only had Angel seemingly disappeared, but Cordelia had as well. When what Connor did to Angel was discovered, he was retrieved and the group had a collective hostility toward Connor.
After some time passed, Connor gradually began to fit into the group and the others began warming up to him. When Cordelia returned, he found he could talk to her, confide in her and seek comfort in her.
::Just When You Thought Things Couldn’t Get Worse…::Unknown to the others, the Cordelia that was returned to them wasn’t the Cordelia they knew. She was possessed by an entity that had been orchestrating certain events since Angel’s arrival in Los Angeles. Under the control of this entity, Cordelia manipulated and guided Connor down a certain path. When a creature called The Beast rose and blocked out the sun, Connor believed it was his fault that it was present. He sought comfort in Cordelia and the two had sex while fire rained from the sky. This resulted in the birth of Jasmine – the very being that had orchestrated everything to bring itself into the world.
After the birth of Jasmine, Cordelia fell into a coma and Jasmine brought about world peace through the religious enslavement of humankind. Rather than feeling inner peace, Connor felt loneliness and isolation. Jasmine was defeated, but as Connor spiraled out of control, Angel made a deal with Wolfram & Hart. He agreed to take over the law firm if Connor could be granted a new life – a normal, human life with no memory of any of the things he had been through.
::A New Identity::Connor was given a new identity and new memories, his previous life erased from his mind. With the exception of Angel and a few others, everyone’s memories were altered as well. Connor – now named Connor Reilly – remembered being raised by his new parents, Laurence and Colleen, and was a happy, well-adjusted young man.
::Another WTF Factor::To Angel’s surprise, Connor’s parents brought him to Angel with a strange story. Connor had been hit by a van in an accident that should have killed him, but he’d emerged unscathed. Angel turned them away, but they were attacked by demons and Connor was able to fight them expertly, having retained his abilities. Angel confessed that Connor had these abilities, but did not reveal he was Connor’s father.
::Curses! Foiled Again::A demonic sorcerer named Cyvus Vail, who created Connor’s new life, knew of the prophecy that Connor would kill Sahjhan, and wanted this to come to pass. Connor was forced to fight Sahjhan, but although he had retained his natural abilities he had no memory of his training.
Wesley confronted Angel and shattered the Orlon Window, an artifact that held Connor’s memories. As a result, everyone’s memory was restored, including Connor’s, and he was able to defeat Sahjhan. Connor returned to his adoptive family, only to return to help Angel fight the Circle of the Black Thorn. He revealed on the eve of this fight that he knew Angel was his father and he was grateful for all he had done for him. After the fight, Angel told Connor to go home and stay safe, saying that as long as Connor was safe, Angel could never be destroyed.
::Where Do We Go From Here?::Connor went from being a hostile, violent wild chilc to a misguided youth to a disturbed young man and finally got to live a happy life for a while. And then he discovered his past. Now he is constantly struggling with both sides of himself. He is mostly content, but he is prone to bouts of depression and a tendency toward violence and instability. He wants so badly not to be manipulated – to have free will and make his own decisions without some outside influence. He doesn’t know who he truly is and is trying to find his true identity.
