History
In the year 2000, the Order of Dagon Monks in Czech who protected the Key, a ball of life energy were attacked by Gloria. After the attack the last three remaining monks forged the key with the Slayer's own essence and casted powerful spells. Thus formed the human girl known as Dawn. They also created memories for those who would have known Dawn to believe that she was there the whole time from the beginning. Buffy, and Giles found out but slowly more and more members of the gang began to put two and two together. When Dawn decided to learn what secrets the gang would not tell her and why they kept leaving her out, Spike decided to tag along and play babysitter. They broke into the magic shop and read the book describing who and what Dawn is. Dawn and Spike of course shocked, but Dawn took it really personal. She was not suppose toe exist, so Dawn began to cut herself and destroy anything that was hers like her journals and setting her room on fire. She was finally calmed down by Buffy stating how they were real sisters no matter what. But of course happy days on the hellmouth are never forever. When Joice died, Dawn tensed up and refused to let go. She even went to confirm the body was her mother's at the hospital by sneaking into the room where she was attacked by a vampire. Buffy of course comes to save her and gets her out of there, but Dawn turns to Necromancy trying to bring her mom back causing loads of more trouble. Because Glory felt that Tara was the key, she went after her. She also went after Spike a bit torturing him to state who the key was. When Dawn heard of this, she blamed herself for everything and became emotional. Of course Gloria found out and kidnapped Dawn. When Dawn went to give herself up to save the world by sacrificing herself, she was stopped by Buffy who finally decided it was time and tossed herself into the dimensional crack in the world created by Dawn's tears and Gloria's magic. Dawn is of course tortured by her sister's death and jumps right in to help Willow resurrect her. She goes through a bit of motions singing and dancing, to stealing more to trying to help but history just seems to repeat for poor Dawnie. Once Dawnie saw the death of Terra, she lost it and couldn't stop being down and upset again. Willow of course went nuts killed Warren, the shooter of Tara, and turned into a big baddie herself. Dawn kept pleading and whining which only made Willow madder threatening to turn Dawn back into the energy that she once only was. Dawn finally proves herself as a scooby member managing to slay vampires and demons on her own. Buffy in fear told Xander to take Dawn away by any means before the war broke out between The One and the new Slayers. Dawn wakes up after being chloroformed and tasers Xander rushing back to Sunnydale and aiding in the fight against her sister's wishes killing three Turok-han Vampires all by herself. Dawn later in Season eight causing a bit of trouble by cheating on her lover Kenny who was a Thricewise with his roommate. He cursed Dawn causining her to change into various things from a giant with no improved strength or weight, to a centaur, and even a living doll before apologizing to Kenny and having the curse lifted. She also seems to talk to Willow a lot more claiming Willow is her mom and its just things she does not want her sister knowing about or having conversations with. Dawn and Xander are beginning to develop more feelings that seem to be sprouting into a relationship behind Buffy's back at the moment. Buffy did find out though and has come to terms...sort of.
((The season eight Comics are 2004 Fall season and so far its still season eight.))
